Throughout the semester, we read chapters from Kim Bobo, Jackie Kendall, and Steve Max's "Organizing for Social Change." This book looks at all aspects of organizing, including direct action organizing, organizing skills, and support for organization. In class, we had various discussions and activities geared toward the readings. The poster on the right is an example of an activity we did where each student defined organizing, explained why it's important, and key things to keep in mind when organizing.
